John Bolton is one of the major international fantasy artists. After obtaining a diploma in Art and Design, he collaborated with various English and American magazines. He began working on American comics in 1980 and has since collaborated with all the major comics publishers.
Over the course of his career he has received several awards and has worked with prestigious people in the film industry, including directors Sam Raimi and Robert Zemeckis.
Bolton is an artist with a strong talent and an incredible imagination. His drawing techniques add a touch of reality to fantasy. Thanks to his mastery in the use of colors, he manages to combine unusual shadows to create mystical and surreal atmospheres and personal expressions. He combines realism and mysticism in a way that surprises and enchants the viewer.
Bolton was born in London, where he currently resides.
