John Bolton Twisted Tales #6 Cover Painting Original Art (Pacific, 1984). Master illustrator John Bolton's near photo-realistic approach elevates the ghastliness depicted in this disturbing nightmare scene for this cover painting for the Twisted Tales Horror Anthology. A husband gazes with terror at the grotesque sight of his wife melting away in this morbidly rendered horror scene. Created in gouache on Bristol board with an image area of 15" x 13.75".
