Description

John Bolton Asylum #1 Complete 4-Page Story "The Wishing Hour" Original Art (Millennium Publications, 1993). A beautifully horrific story by acclaimed artist John Bolton. A boy's evil wish comes true, and Lucifer grants the request with gruesome results in this Halloween-themed tale. Bolton's painted work is striking, and this is the first time Heritage is offering color painted interiors by the modern horror master. Reprinted in Strange Wink #2 from Dark Horse, a collection of previous published Bolton material. Rendered in mixed media on watercolor board with oversized image areas of 15" x 22". The art has some creasing and handling wear, with all pages signed by Bolton at the bottom. Overall, in Excellent condition.
