Charlie Plumb - Ella Cinders Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 9-25-29 (Metropolitan Newspaper Service, 1929). Published at the height of her comic strip power, this Ella Cinders daily strip from September 25, 1929 was created by writer and artist team, Bill Conselman and Charlie Plumb. A very pleasant strip, Plumb's art is strong and well-balanced and features some great airplane shots. The art has a 20" x 5.5" image area. There is some slight aging apparent, otherwise this work is in Excellent condition.

Charlie Plumb - Ella Cinders Daily Comic Strips Original Art, Group of 4 (United Features Syndicate, 1941). Four strips from the popular Ella Cinders comic strip, dating 12-23-41, and 12-25-41 through 12-27-41. Ella Cinders, Blackie Cinders, Mytie Cinders, and Waite Lifter are all here in these December, 1941 strips. Plumb's art is polished and clean, and includes some fantastic shots of Ella Cinders. Each strip measures 5.5" x 23.5". Some slight surface discoloration, miscellaneous staining, and a center fold in each strip, but otherwise in Very Good condition. From the collection of Gill Fox.
