Charlie Plumb, R.M. Brinkerhoff, Merrill Blosser, Gus Mager, John Striebel Sunday Comic Strip Original Art Group (various publishers, c. 1940s-60s). Five Sunday strips. Includes: Hawkshaw the Detective by Gus Mager (12-9-45); Ella Cinders by Charlie Plumb (9-5-48); Little Mary Mixup by Robert M. Brinkerhoff (7-13-41); Dixie Dugan by John Striebel (7-14, no year); and Freckles and His Friends with companion strip Hector by Merrill Blosser (11-22-64). Ink on Bristol, the image areas average 22" x 15". All the strips have varying degrees of water damage, usually along the bottom edge.
