The Ghost Rider has seldom, if ever, looked more wicked than he does on this wrap-around cover scene drawn on two sheets of paper. The combined pages have an image area of 20.25" x 15.75". The pages were taped together on the back; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition.

Ashley Wood - Ghost Rider 2099 #20 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1995). Ghost Rider 2099 owes his origin not to any supernatural occurrence, but rather to having launched his persona onto the Net, and then being uploaded into an advanced, robotic body. Ashley Wood airbrushed portions of this cover to add some gritty sooty, textures to the grim cyber-ghost. The overall art paper measures 11.25" x 17.25", with an image area of 10.5" x 15.75". The condition of the art is Excellent. The artist has signed the piece near the figure's hand, "Ashley Wood '95". There's a Ghost Rider in the machine!

This is a dynamic piece of art that exhibits all of the dark, modernist elements that are popular in the comic book market today. The shadowed face of Heartbreaker is a dramatic touch for the introduction of this character who will obviously burst into the light on the following pages of the printed comic. The minute white-out and slight glue staining don't detract from the overall appeal of this exciting piece of art. All of the text boxes are paste-ups. The piece measures 11.25" x 17.25" with an image area of 9.75" x 15.75".
