Description

Ashley Wood Lore #3 Back Cover and Lore Remastered #3 Variant Cover Painting Original Art (IDW/Image, 2004/2025). This haunting image of a skull appearing as if it were a genie emerging from a bottle strapped to a man's back was so impactful that it was used twice for Ashley Wood's Lore series. It originally appeared as the back cover of Issue #3 of the original IDW series and was featured as a 1:10 incentive variant front cover for Issue #3 of Image's recent Lore Remastered. Rendered in oil on illustration board with an edge-to-edge image area of 9.25" x 15". Presents with tape on the back, creasing near the corners, some scuffing, spots of abrasion in the lower right corner, and handling wear. Signed and dated 2003 in the lower left. In Very Good condition.
