Ashley Wood Hellspawn #4 Splash Page 23 Original Art (Image, 2000). Reverend Gary Danes, a venomous bigot who thrived on hating others, is dragged by Spawn through a nightmarish vision of the very lives he despised, until his mind finally shatters. The final page of "Hate You" leaves him a broken man, reduced to mopping floors and pitied by those who treat him with more humanity than he ever gave in return. Ink and white paint over graphite on Image Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.5". Smudging, whiteout corrections, and light handling wear.
