Journey Into Mystery #83 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. A historic installment in the meteoric rise of The Marvel Age, Thor's debut left comic fans thunderstruck in the wake of the smash-hit debuts of Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, and Ant-Man. After traveling the Bifrost right into the hearts and minds of comic book fans, Thor received his origin and first appearance in this issue, with a legendary depiction on Jack Kirby's cover. The story art was contributed by Kirby and Steve Ditko. Currently #7 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. Overstreet 2024 FN 6.0 value = $9,310; VF 8.0 value = $26,600.
