Aphrodite gives Wonder Woman an elixir of living death so her astral form may be captured by Mars' slave collectors. Wonder Woman gives her name as Etta Candy, and is unrecognized by Mars and his aides, suggesting this is the first time he's ever seen her. Wonder Woman fights a Saturnian slave in the arena; she later meets the Saturnians in Wonder Woman (DC, 1942 series) #10. Wonder Woman's healing purple ray can be taken in tablet form.
