Wonder Woman #2 (DC, 1942) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Light tan to off-white pages. The title's second issue is obviously a bit more scarce than the first (until February of last year, it had been three years since we'd seen a copy in any grade!). That's what makes this book such a hot commodity, even in the seemingly modest grades. The black background's partly to blame, but it sure makes for a striking H. G. Peter cover! The issue has the origin and first appearance of Mars, and a Sheldon Mayer, H. G. Peter, M. C. Gaines, and William Marston photo frontispiece. Wow! Overstreet 2014 VG 4.0 value = $886; FN 6.0 value = $1,329. CGC census 2/15: 7 in 5.0, 14 higher. From the Prospect Mountain Collection.CGC Grader Notes:
