Fred Ray The Story of the Alamo: An Illustrated History of the Siege and Fall of The Alamo pages 2 and 3 Illustration Original Art (Ray, 1955). Besides drawing for DC comics, Fred Ray's passion was historical illustration, and The Story of the Alamo was his masterpiece. This handsome piece has an image area of 14" x 9", and aside from some glue stains in the pasted-up caption type, the art is in Very Good condition.Please note: Only the original art is included in this lot. The scans of the printed booklet are shown only to demonstrate how and where the piece appeared in print.
