Wario's Woods (NES, Nintendo, 1994) Wata 9.4 A+ (Seal Rating).
    Box: Wata 9.4; Rev-A, K-A 6+
    Seal: (A+); First-party H-Seam
    Cartridge: 3-screw

Even though Wario is featured in the title and displayed prominently on the box art, this Tetris-style puzzle game is actually the first game starring Toad as the main character. Wario's Woods was released to the North American market four years into the lifespan of the NES's successor, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, in December of 1994. Production of the original NES ended soon after this game's release in August of 1995. This is the only title on the NES to receive a rating by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which was formed just a few months prior to the game's release in September of 1994 as a self-governing body for rating video games. Even though the game also saw a release on the SNES, the NES release is considered by many to be the better version to play with slightly better controls. As the final, licensed game ever to be released for the NES, this is a perfect addition to any NES collection.
