Takashi Tezuka Yoshi & Toad Signed Shikishi Original Art (2000) PSA Authentic. This original hand-drawn artwork by Takashi Tezuka is rendered in bold black marker on a 10.7" x 9.5" gold-trimmed shikishi board, depicting a whimsical scene featuring Yoshi, Toad, a Yoshi egg, and a Super Star. Tezuka is a pivotal figure in Nintendo history, having assisted Shigeru Miyamoto on Super Mario Bros. and later directing Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES and Super Mario World for the SNES, during which he co-designed Yoshi. The loose, expressive linework gives the piece a lively, personal feel, and it is signed "Ten Ten Tezuka," his stylized signature often used for sketches. It is dated 2000.5.18 (May 18, 2000). Authenticated by PSA and preserved in first-rate condition, this artwork represents a highly desirable example of original Nintendo character art from one of the company's most influential creative minds.Auction Info
