Description

Steven Chorney Sid Meier's Pirates Video Game Box Cover Concept Painting Original Art (Atari, 2004). While Sid Meier is well-known for his smash-hit series, Civilization, his game, Pirates, was also a multi-platform hit. Although this painting was not used on any cover for any platform directly, this concept art was created for the 2004 video game Sid Meier's Pirates!: Live the Life released on both PC and Xbox. However, some aspects of the game's packaging did inspire parts of the final cover and disc art. It was created in gouache and color pencil on canvas textured illustration board. Signed in the lower right. In Excellent condition.
