Description

Greg Winters - Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight Original Preliminary Box Art (Capcom, 1990). Original preliminary box art for Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight for the Nintendo Entertainment System, illustrated by Greg Winters. Executed in graphite on 8" x 10" onion skin paper, the artwork is affixed with tape to a sheet of art paper. This dynamic early concept showcases Winters' energetic linework and sense of motion, depicting the game's futuristic hero, Ken, in mid-battle against alien adversaries. The piece shows some creasing and light edge wear from handling but remains solid overall, providing a fascinating glimpse into the developmental process behind one of Capcom's most striking NES cover illustrations. Notably, the final box art used for the released game differs significantly from this concept, depicting the hero from a completely different angle.
