Gary Winnick Koronis Rift (Tanx) Tank Suit Computer Video Game Original Concept Art (Lucasfilm, 1984). This exceptional original concept drawing of a Tank Suit is from the computer game Koronis Rift. Originally titled Tanks a Lot and Tanx during its development, the game was renamed prior to its release. Crafted by Gary Winnick, the first artist hired by Lucasfilm Games and a renowned game developer, this piece followed the release of the seminal Rescue on Fractalus! Rendered in mixed media and signed by Winnick, the drawing measures 10.25" x 6.75" on a 14" x 10.75" sheet of sketch paper. Extremely rare and in excellent condition, despite light discoloration along the right edge and a couple of tiny spots at the top edge, this artwork is a remarkable find for any collector of video game art and admirer of early LucasArts history.Auction Info
