    The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Wata 9.0 A+ Sealed GB Nintendo 1993 USA. With the recent release of the remake for Nintendo Switch there is certainly some increased interest in this title as of late! Undoubtedly a key game for the GameBoy, this game marks a lot of firsts. First Zelda game for a handheld system. First game to give Link the ability to jump and play the ocarina. First game in the series to include a trading sequence mini game. Includes cameos from other games including Yoshi, Kirby, Chomp, Dr. Wright from Sim City, and more. Rereleased on the GameBoy Color in 1998 as The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. Writer Yoshiaki Koizumi for the game was inspired by the TV-series Twin Peaks to create a Zelda game with dreamlike elements.
