Description
Ristar the Shooting Star - CIB, Mega Drive Sega 1995 JPN. This is our first time offering Ristar the Shooting Star, one of the final first-party Sega titles released for the Mega Drive and a notoriously scarce 16-bit release. Known simply as Ristar on the Genesis, the game departed from traditional jump-based platforming in favor of its signature grappling mechanics, which let players grab enemies, swing from objects, and launch attacks in ways that set it apart from its contemporaries. Produced in limited quantities compared to earlier Mega Drive titles, Ristar the Shooting Star features expressive animation, colorful hand-drawn visuals, and inventive level design. The game is far tougher to track down than the Genesis version. The box and cartridge are in near-mint condition while the manual and insert have typical handling wear.
