First Sealed "No Rev-A" Variant Ever Offered at Public Auction
Popeye - Wata 8.5 A+ Sealed [No Rev-A, Round SOQ,
Mid-Production], NES Nintendo 1986 USA. Well, well, well, it's
been quite some time since Popeye for the NES has graced the
contents of our catalog pages and our website. In fact, we haven't
offered a sealed copy of this adorable black box game in over a
year. To date, we've only offered one other copy in our auctions,
and it was a different variant than this. Speaking of which, when
we realized this copy did not have a Rev-A code we were baffled.
The sealed population of this title overall is staggeringly slim to
say the least, but this variant truly is a head scratcher. The fact
that it has remained sealed in such nice shape is an amazing feat,
and this copy has no shortage of eye appeal. It really is quite a
looker compared to other games within this same grade.Auction Info
