X-Com: UFO Defense - CGC 9.8 B+ Sealed [Jewel Longbox], PS1 Microprose 1995 USA. This copy of X-Com: UFO Defense is tied for the highest-graded example we've ever had the privilege of offering. Adapted from the 1994 MS-DOS classic X-COM: Enemy Unknown, this strategy game was the first entry in the X-Com series. Designed by Julian Gollop, a pioneer in tactical gaming, and featuring an atmospheric soundtrack by composer John Broomhall, the game masterfully blended base management, resource allocation, and turn-based combat against an alien threat. Its influence is still felt today, inspiring numerous sequels and spiritual successors in the tactical strategy genre.
