Stephen Peringer VS. Gumshoe Nintendo VS. System Game Original Flyer Art (Nintendo, 1986). This vibrant, one-of-a-kind piece of Nintendo history is an original mixed media artwork by Stephen Peringer, created for a promotional flyer for VS. Gumshoe, part of the Nintendo VS. System arcade lineup. Original Nintendo-related artwork rarely surfaces on the market, making this an especially significant and collectible piece. The art captures the offbeat charm of the game, with a trench-coated detective dodging a barrage of cartoonish chaos, including a shark, a rhino, and an airplane that is falling apart. Most strikingly, a giant shoe has stepped in pink gum that's stuck to a massive diamond-an imaginative visual that ties directly into the game's title.
