Resident Evil - Wata 9.8 A+ Sealed [Ridged Longbox, First
Production], PS1 Capcom 1996 USA. This is an exceptional copy
of one of the most influential titles in video game history. Of the
six examples of the highly sought-after first production variant of
Resident Evil listed in PSA/Wata's December 2025 population
report, this incredible copy holds the top grade, a distinction
made even more striking when contrasted with the 21 examples of the
standard, later production jewel case variant on the same census.
One of the most iconic games of the 1990s, Resident Evil
popularized the survival horror genre, mesmerizing gamers with its
tense exploration, limited resources, and atmosphere-driven design.
Comic book fans will be interested to know that the cover art is by
the legendary Bill Sienkiewicz, known for his work on such Marvel
series as New Mutants, Moon Knight, and Elektra:
