Final Fantasy IX - CGC 9.9 A++ Sealed, PS1 SquareSoft 2000 JPN. This is our first time offering the Japanese release of Final Fantasy IX at Heritage Auctions, and what an incredible debut with a near-perfect grade. This title was released in Japan four months before its North American counterpart. Directed by Hiroyuki Ito and featuring a remarkable soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu, the game was widely praised for its return to a medieval fantasy setting, reminiscent of the series' roots. This version and the North American release featured "Melodies of Life" performed by Emiko Shiratori.
