This is a near pristine copy of the first game in the Command & Conquer series, one of only nine examples on Wata's March 2024 population report. Command & Conquer is a groundbreaking real-time strategy game. Set in an alternate history, it depicted a global conflict between the United Nations' Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod. Conceived during the final stages of Dune II's development, Command & Conquer was inspired by contemporary events like the Gulf War and featured a modern warfare setting with live-action full-motion video cutscenes starring Westwood employees and actor Joseph D. Kucan as Kane. The game was a commercial and critical success, selling over three million copies and winning numerous awards.
