Mega Man - VGA 85+ NM+ Sealed ["3.5" Disk Enclosed" Sticker], PC Capcom 1990 USA. We see Mega Man for the NES frequently, but this is only our second time offering the rare PC version-a fascinating outlier in the series' history. Of the mere two copies of this variant on VGA's February census, this one has the higher grade. The box shows mild corner wear and light creasing along the bottom, but it remains vibrant and looks very nice overall. Released by Hi-Tech Expressions under license from Capcom, this PC adaptation was developed independently from the NES original and shares little with it beyond the name and general premise. Instead of the familiar six Robot Masters, players faced only three bosses-Sonic Man, Volt Man, and Dyna Man-across simplified, side-scrolling stages built for DOS systems. While often remembered for its awkward controls and offbeat design, the game has become a quirky collector's favorite thanks to its striking box art, historical oddity, and rarity-especially in factory-sealed condition.
