Code-Name: Iceman - VGA 85 NM+ Sealed [5 1/4-Inch Disk], PC Sierra On-Line 1989 USA. This is the only copy of this variant of Code-Name: Iceman on VGA's March census. The shiny embossed title looks especially appealing on the cover of this nicely preserved copy. Designed by Jim Walls, best known for the Police Quest series, this adventure game was built with the SCI engine, featuring Cold War-era intrigue involving the United States, the Soviet Union, and Tunisia, with an unusually detailed submarine simulation aboard the fictional USS Blackhawk. Sierra's promotional materials teased a follow-up titled "Codename: Phoenix", but disappointing sales meant Iceman remained a one-off experiment in the company's celebrated adventure lineup. The box has mild corner and edge wear in a few spots, but it presents beautifully.Auction Info
