    Description

Elusive Early NES Title From Acclaim

Winter Games - Wata 9.4 A+ Sealed [No Rev-A, Early Production], NES Acclaim 1987 USA. This is the first copy of Winter Games that we have offered so far, sealed or otherwise -- and what a nice copy to start with! This particular Nintendo Entertainment System title is deceptively difficult to find in sealed condition. Winter Games was released as a follow-up to the other multi-sport title for the Commodore 64, Summer Games, which was published by U.S. Gold. It is also a predecessor to the immensely popular California Games. Even though Winter Games was one of the most popular games from Epyx on the Commodore, sales for the NES version fell flat by comparison, attributing to its overall rarity today.
