Description
Super Mario Bros. - Wata 9.4 NS Unopened [Control Deck Pack-In, Hangtab, 3 Code], NES Nintendo 1985 USA. This is an extra-special and incredibly rare copy of Super Mario Bros. It was manufactured without a seal and included as a pack-in with the 1987 Control Deck set, which had a short production run. A small number of pack-in copies had a hangtab box, but Nintendo quickly changed to a "flat back" non-hangtab box. It's the only Control Deck NS copy to be graded by Wata, essentially making it a 1-of-1. It is a brand new find, being pulled and graded just recently from an unused Control Deck set. The only difference between this NS copy and a retail copy is the omission of the outer seal during manufacturing.View the certification for PSA Certification ID 599247-001, including grader's notes if available.
