Unopened Japanese Version of Legendary Release
Super Mario Bros. - VGA 90 NM+/MT Unopened [Barcode, FF Logo,
Later Production], Famicom Nintendo 1985 JPN. Super Mario
Bros. made its debut on the Famicom in Japan a month before
arriving on the NES in the U.S., and this copy is a standout piece
of that legacy. According to VGA's April census, it is one of only
three unopened examples of this hard-to-find variant graded by the
company-with no unopened mid-production or early-production copies
recorded at all. Only two Qualified copies from those earlier runs
have been certified by VGA, underscoring just how elusive
high-grade, unopened examples of this iconic title truly are. As
Mario's defining adventure, Super Mario Bros. transformed
gaming forever, revolutionizing side-scrolling platformer gameplay
