Super Mario Bros. 3 - CGC 9.6 A+ Sealed ["Bros." Left, Early Production], NES Nintendo 1990 USA. Any copy of this variant is a prize to be won in its own right, but none compare to this sterling, market-fresh example. For years, NES collectors have searched for the elusive "Left Bros." variant of Super Mario Bros. 3, distinguished by the left-aligned "Bros." text on the cover-an early design later revised for visual balance. This version, visible in original promotional materials, had a very limited production run and is exceptionally rare, comprising only 8% of the Super Mario Bros. 3 copies auctioned over the past six years. After a relatively extensive review of its condition, our team concluded any factors that led to its condition rating are difficult to detect, even under direct lighting. Its eye appeal is beyond exquisite. Widely regarded as one of the greatest NES games, Super Mario Bros. 3 introduced gameplay innovations like world maps and an inventory system, and its cultural impact was cemented by its reveal in The Wizard (1989) and its own animated series produced with NBC and Nintendo.Newly Crowned as the Single-highest Graded "Left Bros."
