Super Castlevania IV - Wata 9.4 A+ Sealed [Made in Japan, Early Production], SNES Konami 1991 USA. This early production copy of Super Castlevania IV really hypnotizes as there is only one graded higher out of 15 of this variant on Wata's March 2024 population report. Its early production status is evidenced by being made in Japan, with later copies having been assembled in Mexico and distributed by Majesco. This platformer is the eighth installment in the series and is widely regarded as one of the best. It is a localization of the 1991 Super Famicom title, Demon Castle Dracula. It features expanded play control and 16-bit graphics utilizing the SNES's Mode 7 capabilities. The music was composed in part by Taro Kudo, and the display-worthy box art is by Tom DuBois.View the certification for Wata Certification ID 603743-001, including grader's notes if available.
