Description
Stack-Up - VGA 85+ NM+ Sealed [Matte Sticker, First Production], NES Nintendo 1985 USA. Of the 19 sealed copies of this first-production Stack-Up variant listed in VGA's April census, not a single one is graded higher-making this a true prize for collectors. Despite a light 4.5-inch crease on the back, a small tear in the top right corner beneath the seal, and another on the matte sticker under the seal, the overall presentation is strong, and the game remains factory sealed. The matte sticker-Nintendo's earliest sealing method prior to adopting shrinkwrap in 1987-confirms its first-production status and adds historical significance. Produced in limited quantities due to the short-lived nature of R.O.B. the Robot, and debuting during the test marketing phase of the NES, Stack-Up is one of only two games made for the peripheral (alongside Gyromite) and was sold exclusively in a large-format box to accommodate its unique components.Auction Info
