Description
Stack-Up - VGA 80+ NM Sealed [Hangtab, No Codes, Mid-Production], NES Nintendo 1985 USA. VGA lists just 18 copies of this Stack-Up variant on their February census. Produced in relatively low numbers during Nintendo's short-lived experiment with R.O.B. (the Robotic Operating Buddy), Stack-Up is one of only two NES titles-alongside Gyromite-designed to utilize the accessory. The game was never issued in a standard cartridge box; it was released exclusively in a large box to accommodate the plastic trays and color-coded blocks required for play. As a black box launch title, Stack-Up captured Nintendo's original vision for the NES, blending video games with physical interaction. While this copy exhibits mild corner wear, a shallow 1" cut on the top, and a 1" seal tear on the back, it looks fantastic for its grade.Auction Info
