Spy Hunter - Wata 9.2 CIB [Hangtab, First Production], NES
Sunsoft 1987 USA. [Box: 9.2; Manual: 9.0; Cart: 9.4; Overall:
9.2] This is the highest graded CIB copy of this variant on Wata's
December 2023 population report. Spy Hunter is a port of a
true coin-op classic, which Bally Midway released to the arcades in
1983. For those not in the know, the game is a top-down vertical
combat racer that moves at a rapid clip and features an electronic
arrangement of Henry Mancini's theme to Peter Gunn. The dynamic
vibe of the game is captured perfectly by Tony Ramunni's stylish
box art. The Kaybee Toys price sticker on the front lends added
provenance to the lot. Wata notes, "Matching components."
