Slalom [Oval SOQ TM, Early Production] Wata 7.0 C+ Sealed NES Nintendo 1987 USA. This is the first factory sealed copy of Slalom that we have ever offered in our auctions. Its one of just three black box titles released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. Slalom is actually the first video game for the NES developed outside of Japan. This skiing game was designed by Tim and Chris Stamper (aka the Stamper brothers) with music by David Wise -- that's Rare royalty right there! While the majority of black box titles do not have an oval seal variant, Slalom is an exception. In fact, it's the only 1987 black box title with a confirmed oval seal variant. The oval seal indicates this copy is from the last production run of the title.
