As of Wata's May 2025 population report, only 21 copies of Ready 2 Rumble Boxing have been certified, and this example holds the highest grade. Originally released as a Dreamcast launch title, the game stood out for its lively 3D visuals, exaggerated character designs, and arcade-style mechanics. Unlike Nintendo's Punch-Out!!, this title offered full 3D control in the ring and let players choose from a wide roster of boxers, including fan favorites like Afro Thunder and Boris "The Bear" Knokimov. Unique to the N64 version is J.R. Flurry, an exclusive character.
