A High-End Example from Pokémon's Global Debut

Pokémon Blue Version - PSA 9.8 A+ Sealed [Rattata, Pixel ESRB, Third Production], Game Boy Nintendo 1998 USA. This is a dazzling copy of Pokémon Blue Version, a landmark title that helped launch one of the most influential video game franchises of all time, evolving from the original Japanese Pocket Monsters releases. The box looks stunning, with vibrant colors, sharp corners, and a glossy seal. Together with Pokémon Red, this game marked the beginning of the series on a global stage, developed under the guidance of Shigeru Miyamoto and directed by Satoshi Tajiri. Players could collect up to 139 different creatures—or all 150 when linked with Red. Vulpix, Sandshrew, Meowth, Bellsprout, and their evolutions were exclusive to Blue. The memorable soundtrack for the game was composed by Junichi Masuda, and the cool Blastoise cover art was illustrated by Ken Sugimori.
