Description
NARC - PSA 9.2 A Sealed [Oval SOQ R], NES Acclaim 1990 USA. A port of the 1988 Williams arcade run-and-gun game, NARC was developed by Rare. The arcade version was the first video game to feature an explicit anti-drug message. Nintendo removed all drug references from the gameplay while retaining the violence and gore. The result was an unusual, action-packed experience that still conveyed the game's core message in a more toned-down form. The main theme was written by Brian L. Schmidt, with a separate version recorded and performed by the Pixies. The box has minor corner wear and a subtle 1" crease on the front cover.
