Metal Gear - Wata 9.6 A+ Sealed [Rev-A, Round SOQ], NES Ultra 1988 USA. Only two copies of this iconic game are graded higher on Wata's population report (last updated 11/1/21). Overall, is rich in its preponderance of highly graded keys, and this copy fits in with some of the best of them. Even the most discerning collector would have a tremendously difficult time taking notice of any fault in this copy's condition. The game popularized the stealth genre and lead to such follow-ups as Snake's Revenge (NES) and Metal Gear Solid (PS1). The game itself marks the first appearance of everyone's favorite sneaky hero, Solid Snake. He's depicted on the cover, and he looks familiar, right? That's because the painted art was inspired by Michael Biehn's Kyle Reese character from 1984's The Terminator.Wata Population Report
