Description

Mega Man X2 - CGC 9.0 CIB, SNES Capcom 1995 USA. [Box: 8.0; Cart: 9.6; Manual: 9.4; Overall: 9.0] Mega Man X2 was the first of only two games to use Capcom's proprietary Cx4 chip, a math coprocessor designed specifically for the Mega Man X series. This advanced chip enabled the Super Nintendo to perform complex trigonometric calculations, allowing for 3D wireframe effects, precise sprite positioning, and smooth rotation, giving the game a technical edge over other titles on the platform. Directed by Mega Man co-creator Keiji Inafune and produced by Tokuro Fujiwara, Mega Man X2 retained the fast-paced action, shooting, and platforming of its predecessor. The dynamic box art was crafted by the talented Greg Winters. The box has light corner wear, a 1.25" crease on the front cover, and a .5" crease on the top spine.
