Description
Mega Man - Wata 9.0 CIB ["Dr. Wright" Text, First Production], NES Capcom 1987 USA. Other than a sealed Wata 9.4 example we sold way back in 2019, this is the highest graded First Production copy of Mega Man that we've ever offered. The box presents extremely well, and the cart and manual are each graded 9.4, meaning this lot has definitely been handled with care over the years. The title is an important piece of video game history. It's one of the most beloved third-party games for the NES, and it's the first installment in the long-running Mega Man series. In this original production run, the name of the big baddie in the description on the back of the box was "Dr. Wright." On later examples, this was changed to "Dr. Wily." The Kay Bee Toys and Captain Commando stickers on the cover give it added provenance.PSA Population Report
