Description
Lode Runner - CGC 9.2 A Sealed [Hangtab, First Production], NES Broderbund 1987 USA. This is the highest-graded copy of Lode Runner we have offered out of 11, and this is a first-production example, as indicated by the hangtab. Adapted from the classic 1983 computer puzzle-platformer developed by Doug Smith-one of the earliest games to feature a level editor-this port offered an unusual take on the climbing genre and some additions to the series. An early third-party release for the system, the game infused all 50 levels with adventure elements, added fruits and vegetables for bonus points, introduced scrolling screens, and was the only version to feature music composed by Isamu Hirano.
