Gyromite - Wata 8.5 CIB [Hangtab, 1 Code, Mid-Production], NES Nintendo 1985 USA. [Box: 9.0; Manual: 8.5; Cart: 7.5; Overall: 8.5] Only two CIB copies of this variant are graded higher on Wata's March 2023 pop report out of 15 total. When Nintendo set out to enter the US home console market, they were going into uncertain territory. No one was sure if Nintendo would find success in the volatile video game industry. The company launched the NES with their Deluxe Set in October 1985 for the New York test market. Included in those units was Gyromite. We are sure that serious Nintendo collectors won't let this one go so easily. After all, it is one of the titles that helped Nintendo establish its foothold in the US market.PSA Population Report
