Donkey Kong Classics - Wata 9.6 A++ Sealed [Rev-A, Round SOQ, First Production], NES Nintendo 1988 USA. This is a first-production copy of Donkey Kong Classics, identifiable by the round Nintendo Seal of Quality on the front of the box--a detail exclusive to the earliest print run. Combining two arcade greats, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr., this compilation delivered platforming excellence and Nintendo history in a single cartridge. Unlike the original black box NES releases of each game--which featured minimalist 8-bit style artwork and were published separately--Donkey Kong Classics is packaged in a vibrant orange box with cartoonish illustrations. The more playful presentation reflected Nintendo's changing/growing brand identity in the late 1980s.
