Fans of the genre frequently cite the game as one of the all-time greats regardless of console or era. It was created by some of the most talented people in the video game industry, including Hironobu Sakaguchi, Yuji Horji, Akira Toriyama, and Nobuo Uematsu. The gorgeous cover art is by Akira Toriyama. Chrono Cross followed on the PlayStation.
