Description
Chiller - Wata 9.4 A++ Sealed, NES AGCI 1990 USA. Chiller is known in NES collecting circles to be hard to find, especially sealed and in excellent condition. Of the 18 copies on Wata's August 2024 population report, only three have a higher grade than this example. Adapted from Exidy's 1986 horror-themed light gun shooter, which featured a shocking degree of gore and violence, the game was toned down for the home release but still packed quite the punch, with characters on torture racks and other graphic imagery. This NES port was unauthorized by Nintendo, likely due to the extreme content.From the Josh Entin Collection. Ex. The Indiana Collection
