Bionic Commando - VGA 85+ NM+ Sealed, Game Boy Capcom 1992 USA. VGA lists just five copies of Bionic Commando for the Game Boy on its February census, and publicly available population data shows only a single-digit number of graded examples overall. This handheld version of the classic platformer is an adaptation of the NES game, featuring essentially the same gameplay and stages, along with a similar plot, but the present day setting was changed to a futuristic one. The game is notable for its unconventional movement mechanics, where the protagonist couldn't jump. Instead, he navigated by using a mechanical arm equipped with a grappling gun, allowing him to pull himself forward and swing from ceilings. The box has a few short/light surface impressions on the front, but it's in excellent condition overall.Auction Info
