Battletoads Wata 7.0 CIB (NES, Tradewest, 1991, USA). Released in 1991 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Battletoads is the first game in a series of five sequels and spin-offs. The game was created in direct response to compete with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game franchise. Developed by Rare, Battletoads is considered one of the most difficult games on the NES. There have not been any new Battletoads games since 1994, but Microsoft Studios recently announced a long anticipated sequel to the series slated for release in 2019.Box 7.0, Cart 6.5, Manual 7.0.
