"Dr. Wily" Makes His First Appearance
Mega Man - Wata 9.4 A+ Sealed ["Dr. Wily," Second Production],
NES Capcom 1987 USA. We can count on one hand the number of
sealed copies we've offered of this game in our auctions. Further,
this is the first sealed copy we've offered of this variant, and it
is quite the stunner! To date, the Wata 9.4 A+ "Dr. Wright" first
production copy -- the crown jewel of the Carolina Collection --
that sold for $75,000 all-in well over a year ago is the closest
comparable copy we've offered so far. While many would consider it
fair to say that the Dr. Wright copy is in a league of its own due
to its first-production status, the difficulty in finding a sealed
copy of this game in any condition cannot be denied -- especially a
copy from a production run as early as this one. With all of this
in mind, we have a feeling this impeccably well-preserved copy will
